VAIL, CO – LIV Sotheby’s International Realty (LIV SIR) is proud to announce that five of its brokers in the Vail Valley have made the Vail Board of Realtors’® list of top 10 real estate professionals within the Vail Valley for 2019.
The five brokers recognized in the list of the top 10 performing real estate professionals are Tye Stockton, Malia Cox Nobrega, Barbara Scrivens, Patrick Barrett, and David McHugh. Brokers were ranked based on the number of homes they listed, the number of homes they sold, their total sales volume and their average sales numbers. These brokers have demonstrated their unparalleled expertise in the resort market and their unwavering commitment for the success of their clients.
Tye Stockton has been assisting homebuyers and sellers in the resort communities for nearly 30 year. He is also ranked as the #131 Individual Agent in the USA by The Wall Street Journal and the Top Individual Agent in Vail for 2018, with over $105 million in sales. In August of last year, Stockton represented the seller of 2950 Booth Creek Drive in Vail, Colorado which sold for an astonishing $20,750,000. The incredible home is adorned with touches of natural materials such as Telluride Gold stone, steel, copper and wood.
A resident of Vail Valley for 26 years, Barbara Scrivens’ sales production consistently ranks within the top 3% for the Vail Valley. Armed with a wide range of project management and real estate development experience, Scrivens develops creative solutions unique to each real estate situation in order to best benefit her clients.
Malia Cox Nobrega hit the ground running in her full time real estate sales career by being named Rookie Of The Year by Who's Who In Luxury Real Estate. Since then, she is consistently a top three percent broker in the Vail Valley and was ranked 58th in sales production of the 38,000 real estate agents throughout Colorado as ranked by REALTrends in America's Best Realtors (an affiliate of the Wall Street Journal). Malia grew up in the Vail Valley and changed her career from an attorney to real estate and is now known as one of the most "tech savvy" providing cutting edge marketing and online exposure strategies along with excellent negotiation skills.
Nobrega and Scrivens both represented a dream-like Tuscan estate, 1548 Via La Favorita in Edwards, Colorado which sold for $15,454,000. This home boasts 142 acres bordered by 88 acres of open space for 230 total acres, an outdoor year-round pool, pool house, tennis and basketball court, billiards room, cinema, fully equipped gym, professional spa, caretaker's house, barn and the ability to construct a heliport.
Since joining LIV Sotheby’s International Realty in 2011, Patrick Barrett has individually closed over $91 million in sales. In 2019, he teamed up with Tye Stockton to close the impressive $19,000,000 sale of 424 Forest Road in Vail, Colorado a Bavarian-style ski chalet with a five-bedroom main house spanning four floors and a private guest house.
David McHugh has more than 20 years of experience, in which time he has crafted his practice using forward-thinking technology solutions to launch properties on the world stage and provide expert care far beyond the sale for his clients. Last year McHugh, in conjunction with Barbara Scrivens, sold a gorgeous penthouse within the highly sought-after Golden Peak building on the slopes of Vail Mountain for $7,750,000.
“With over 700 local members within the Vail Board of Realtors®, it’s very exciting to have half of the brokers in the top 10 slots belong to LIV Sotheby’s International Realty,” exclaimed Dan Fitchett, vice president and managing broker of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty’s Vail Valley offices. “This recognition is a testament to their professionalism and dedication to achieving their clients’ goals.”
