NEWPORT, RI – Gustave White Sotheby’s International Realty today announced the sale of 24 Ellery Road in Newport, Rhode Island, for $1,445,000 after being on the market for only two weeks. Gustave White Sotheby’s International Realty sales agents Rebecca King and Grace Cimo McCluskey represented the seller, and Jessica Chase, the buyer.
“In the past year, Newport real estate has seen 29 single-family sales in the one-to-two-million-dollar range, of which one-third of the sales were represented by Gustave White Sotheby's International Realty,” commented co-owner Paul Leys. “Over half of the listings were on the market for less than sixty days. The quick sale of these properties in the heart of Newport supports an ongoing appeal of the local mid-luxury market.”
The almost 3,500-square-foot newer construction nestles into the popular Kay/Catherine neighborhood at the corner of Champlin Place minutes from Easton's Beach and Cliff Walk. Built by Mark Horan in 2015, the five-bedroom residence features a glass wall open to a covered porch, guest suite and an open dining/kitchen space. The upper-level master suite includes a balcony with water views of Easton's Pond and the ocean beyond.
