In keeping with a promise to make a difference in children's lives, November began with a great opportunity for me to represent Florida Luxurious Properties as a VIP table sponsor at the Museum of Discovery & Science’s annual Black Tie Gala. The purpose of the Gala is to raise funds to aid young men and women who age out of foster care.
- The Museum of Discovery & Science understands the challenge that this transitional time creates for foster children emerging into the workplace and offers an internship program each year to help candidates prepare for the “real” world. I wholly support this cause and welcomed Julie Jones-Bernard, Louis Bernard and Erica Axani from Florida Luxurious Properties, and Jill Horowitz with Lifestyles Las Olas Magazine to celebrate this stellar event. (Erica stands with Erika Axani in the photo.)
- Next, I'll be heading to The Cove in the Bahamas in mid-November to attend the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County’s 27th annual rendezvous and show boats event. This huge and fun-filled weekend attracts many local celebrities and their yachts. Last year, the rendezvous raised nearly $2 million for the Boys & Girls Club of Broward. With my sponsor ticket I will yacht hop, join the Denim and Diamonds party and attend theBlack Tie Gala on Saturday night--an exciting weekend for a wonderful cause.
Long ago, I promised myself that if I could make a difference in children’s lives, I would forever do so. I realized my promise years ago and it brings me enormous satisfaction. As a Broker/Associate with Florida Luxurious Properties, I am pleased to include this month’s activities in giving back to the community.
