Thirty-five years ago, Elizabeth Stribling became a real estate broker. Today, she heads one of the most prestigious residential real estate firms in the country. With the acquisition of Wells & Gay in 1989, the Stribling organization, with its more than 140 brokers, has been in continuous business for 177 years. She is on the Board of Governors of the Real Estate Board of New York and was the 1995 winner of its Henry Forster Memorial Award. The important award is given for an outstanding record of achievement in residential real estate combined with exemplary character and conduct. Ms. Stribling is on the Board of Director of many organizations including The Foreign Policy Association, New York Landmarks Conservancy, Women's Committee of the Central Park Conservancy, The Drama League of New York, CAM (Cambridge University in America) and French Heritage. She is a Trustee of the Hewett School from which she graduated.
