Holiday Homes of St. John Inc. was pleased to welcome Christie as a partner in 2001.This was just the latest move in a long and successful real estate career dating from 1985 when Christie and her 2 sons sailed to the island of St. John, the crown jewel of the US Virgin Islands.

After becoming a Realtor and joining Holiday Homes in 1986, Christie quickly vaulted into the ranks of top producers on the island and has skillfully juggled the demands of raising twins, community service and the many hours spent helping visitors to become island wise and to fulfill their dream of property ownership in the Virgin Islands.

Christie is well known on St. John for her impeccable integrity, sunny smile and positive "can do" spirit. Some of her achievements have included being President of the St. John Board of Realtors (2 terms), President of the Virgin Islands Territorial Association of Realtors for 2007 & 2008, and serving on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Realtors for 7 terms. Among other personal achievements Christie was an Officer of the Board of Directors of Friends of the Virgin Islands National Park for many years, and still sits on their advisory committee. She has also served on the boards of St. John Yacht Club, and various homeowners associations. She was St. John Chairperson for the VI Americas Cup Challenge (with a trip to NZ!) and in 1999 she bicycled across the USA from Seattle, Washington to Washington, DC as a fundraiser for the American Lung Association.

Her real estate highlights have included 20+ years as top producer on St. John with sales of many of the highest end properties throughout the island. In 2007 she closed a home for $14 Million, and is in the process of selling an island listed at $24 Million. In 2005 Christie was NAR's "Realtor of the Year" for the Virgin Islands.

Always in the forefront of Realtor education, she has the following designations: CRS, Certified Residential Specialist; CRB, Certified Residential Brokerage; CIPS, Certified International Property Specialist; GRI, Graduate Realtor Institute; RSPS, Resort & 2nd Home Specialist; CLHMS, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist; TRC, Transnational Referral Certification and is currently pursuing the NAR Green Designation as well as EcoBroker Certification doing the environmental specialist coursework.
