SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Luminary Fund began 37 years ago on a handful of streets and has grown into an all-encompassing community effort. This year it raised over $85,000 for local charities, setting a new record for the organization. Summit residents on 158 streets purchased over 36,000 luminaries, and on December 24th, the streets were lined with a gorgeous glow.
Partnering during the infancy of Summit Luminary Fund, Lois Schneider Realtor became the underwriter of this magical event, creating an environment for growth. “We are proud to work with the Summit Luminary Fund and the non-profit beneficiaries that contribute so much to our town. At Lois Schneider Realtor we are committed to helping support their work. We’d like to thank Summit Luminary Fund President, Barbara Romano for her continued hard work and dedication, as well as all the area leaders and volunteers,” said Karen Schneider, President of Lois Schneider Realtor.
