Born and raised in the vibrant city of Austin, Kevin Bown embarked on his illustrious journey in real estate in 1998, beginning with JB Goodwin Realtors. In 1999, Kevin's pursuit of mastering the intricacies of the industry led him to Goodwin Partners, Inc., where he honed his expertise in commercial leasing while amplifying his foothold in residential sales. It wasn’t just the historic sites and architectural marvels that caught Kevin’s eye, but also Austin's burgeoning food scene, art galleries, and the echo of live music in its streets.

The turn of the millennium saw Kevin's mettle being recognized, as 2003 marked a significant partnership with Guy Goodwin at Goodwin Partners Residential. Here, Kevin took on the mantle of managing the brokerage, providing guidance, inspiration, and support to numerous budding agents. Helping these agents realize their potential and witnessing their personal transformation became Kevin’s most cherished reward.

Over the years, Kevin's passion has spanned beyond real estate. A connoisseur of fine wine, he's often found sampling Austin's best vintages or traveling to distant vineyards, enriching his palate. His adventures abroad have not only deepened his love for travel but have also shaped his global perspective—a valuable asset in the diverse world of real estate.

In 2011, in collaboration with Paul Smith, Kevin co-founded Twelve Rivers Realty, marking a new chapter in his storied career. But his achievements aren't merely professional. As a father of two remarkable sons, Kevin cherishes the moments of bonding over Austin's culinary delights, visiting art exhibits, or simply reveling in the city's vibrant atmosphere.

Over a sixteen year run, Kevin co-hosted "The Real Estate Zone" radio show on KLBJ AM, where he merged his vast knowledge with entertainment. Today, from his base in downtown Austin, Kevin continues his life-long love affair with the city. Whether it's assisting someone in finding their dream home or mentoring a budding agent, Kevin Bown is a name synonymous with trust, passion, and an unyielding love for Austin.
