Deirdre McKenna

Deirdre was born and raised in Astoria. After moving to the suburbs, it only took a few years for her and her husband to decide to return to Astoria to finish raising their four daughters, missing the energy and opportunities available in Astoria.

Deirdre received a Bachelor's degree from Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY and her M.B.A. from New York University Stern School of Business. She worked at Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney in Equity and Fixed Income Institutional Sales. While raising her four daughters she also worked in casting and model management and her and her husband owned several rental and commercial properties.

While weekending in the Hudson Valley, Deirdre was hired by a boutique real estate firm when she became licensed but knew she wanted to work in her hometown as well. After researching real estate firms in the Astoria area, she felt Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty offered superior training and support for its agents as well as the reputation she was looking for. Deirdre knows and loves her neighborhood and this passion can genuinely be felt by all her clients.
