We are honored to have supported HomeAid Colorado’s Safer with Homes campaign and in such an innovative way. By Gretchen Rosenberg, President & CEO of Kentwood Real Estate - Kentwood Real Estate Brokers and Staff Raise Over $4,800 to Support HomeAid Colorado’s ‘Safer with Homes’ Campaign via Live Virtual Open Houses

HomeAid Colorado, a local chapter of the national network of HomeAid America, recently canceled its annual 2020 Building Homes - Rebuilding Lives breakfast fundraiser due to impacts stemming from COVID-19. Last year’s event raised $120,000 for the organization’s critical efforts in supporting programs for those highest at risk of homelessness.

As an official partner of HomeAid Colorado, Kentwood Real Estate is proud to do its part to help make up for the loss in contributions by supporting HomeAid’s Safer with Homes initiative. Kentwood broker associates participated with virtual home tours on social media, calling on their own individual networks to sponsor HomeAid’s campaign.

We are so inspired by our brokers as they collectively raised $4,853 for the cause.

Gretchen Rosenberg, President and CEO of Kentwood Real Estate and our Kentwood Real Estate family are passionate about supporting our local community. In addition to the Safer with Homes fundraiser, Kentwood brokers were also hard at work serving neighbors in response to impacts stemming from COVID-19. Kentwood donated pizzas to frontline workers in hospitals and firehouses in Denver and Fort Collins to show our appreciation for their selfless work, as well as contributed to the Denver Metro Association of Realtors® 21-Day Fundraising Challenge which raised nearly $10,000 for HomeAid Colorado to help community members directly affected by the pandemic. Before that, Kentwood Real Estate hosted holiday drives donating over 100 toys to the beneficiaries of Mercy Housing and Be the Gift and over 400 items to HomeAid Colorado’s Essentials Drive. Every year, Kentwood brokers and staff individually support over 500 local, national and international organizations through volunteerism and fundraising.

It is so important to give back and for neighbors to help neighbors. We are here to support and serve our community and we are ready to step up even more now during these unprecedented times. We are in this together. #KentwoodStrong
