The flora along the lakeside is varied, abundant and similar to more southern Mediterranean vegetation: cypresses and laurel trees, camellias, azaleas, rhododendrons, magnolias, and palm trees. Le domaine est situé sur la rive ouest du lac de Côme, à environ 20 kilomètres au nord de la ville de Côme.
