The World Championships of SASS Cowboy Mounted Shooting™ were held here for nearly two decades, drawing equestrian aficionados from around the Southwest as participants. The arena is suitable for almost all equestrian events.

Recent use of the ranch has primarily been as an event venue. Numerous events benefitting the local public, non-profit events, and for-profit activities have been held annually.
