This ancient castle is situated in an unparalleled position looking over the Tiber valley, with breathtaking views over fields, rolling hills, olive groves and vineyards. The castle and its adjoining church date back to the 11th century and have been meticulously renovated and converted into a luxury villa. Space rules in this villa, from the extensive surrounding garden and grounds, to the large kitchen and the 10 super king size bedrooms with their en-suite sumptuous marble bathrooms (4 of which are in the dependance). Arched ceilings, restored terracotta tile floors, 13th century frescos, travertine marble stairs all create a unique home that is luxurious without being flamboyant, mixing modern comfort with traditional materials. The medieval church connected to the main villa is completely adorned with hand-painted decorations, and together represent a unique setting to celebrate romantic and unforgettable events and weddings or to simply enjoy beauty and silence. (The cost of the tourist tax for this structure is 1,50 Euros/person for the first two nights and 0.75 Euros/person for the third night, for a total of 3.75 Euros/person. Children up to 14 years old are tax-exempt)
