The project is located on a plot of 1,601sqm at the Racó de Galeno residential development, on the striking Benissa hillsides overlooking the sea, within a few minutes from the beaches and coves that are scattered along this stretch of the coast. The geometric shape of the site, with two curved sides that are parallel to each other, defines the shape of the house, which follows the same radial profile. Two horizontal planes enclosed by glass walling constitute the shell of this project, with the entire housing program on one floor. A spiral staircase connects the pedestrian entrance and the carport to the dwelling and continues down to the outdoor pool and garden areas situated below the elevated structure. To the left of the main entrance, an open plan living-dining room with no walls nor interior divisions takes over the whole corner of the
building. To the right, a central wooden core runs along the floor dividing the spaces and ensuring the privacy of the night area. The effect achieved with this wooden nucleus is to reflect the outdoor natural scenery inside the home and maintain the serene and pleasant atmosphere of the location. In this part of the house we find the kitchen with an adjoining storage room, a guest toilet and the laundry room followed by three generous bedrooms, all with their own ensuite bathrooms and, at the far end, a significantly sized master suite with full bathroom and dressing room, opening up onto a private balcony. Two covered terraces situated on either side of the kitchen make space for an open-air dining room and a separate outdoor sitting area.
