Via Civita
Ravello, Italy

Ravello, perched on a rocky cliff above the town of Atrani dominates the Amalfi Coast and Majestically embraces the Gulf of Salerno. UNESCO World Heritage rich in culture, history and music that have made this jewel of the Amalfi Coast the chosen destination for the greatest creative minds worldwide. At the beginning of the last century, European travelers began to arrive in search of ruins of the past in a unique environment, the great interest of foreigners and the construction of the Vietri-Amalfi road gave rise to a revival throughout the territory. Many structures poured in desperate conditions, among them there was also Torre di Civita, an ancient monastery, once owned by a prince of Campania. The ancient monastery was bought in the beginning of the 50's, and the owners began the restoration work of the constructions and the surrounding land. The current owners have completely renovated the facilities and resumed the grounds, transforming the property into the magnificent estate that we find today. Torre di Civita offers all modern comforts in a truly unique setting. The estate extends for almost a hectare and a half, all terraced with vineyards, vegetable gardens and orchards. The tower of Civita, as Ravello itself; is perched above a hill and offers a breathtaking 360° view, perhaps one of the most beautiful in the world. The three-storey manor house has been built on the foundations of the ancient monastery, it now has three master suites, a very large kitchen, terraces overlooking two sides and access to the magnificent gardens. In the gardens there is also a medieval tower, now a delightful suite for guests. The estate has three other guest houses and a second newly renovated villa, ensuring ample space for family and friends. The gardens, gym and swimming pool with dressing room complete the property.
