Description

An absolutely unique villa, situated on a hill with a beautiful view over Bonaire and the Caribbean Sea. Perfectly finished with top quality materials and a total surface of almost 8600 sq.ft. The villa was completed in 2017 and is situated on a plot of almost 20.000 sq.ft. The Belgian architects BBSC has based the design of the villa on the style of the famous "Kaufman House" by Richard Neutra. Actually the villa can not be described with words.

This beautiful villa is located on a hill in the residential area Crown Terrace less than 10 minutes from Kralendijk and within 15 minutes by car from the airport. It is located in such a way that the wind can blow through the house at all times. The amount of ventilation can be regulated by a shutter system. All aluminum facades can be opened completely so that the villa has an open character and connect inside and outside.

There are three levels in the villa: the living area on the ground floor, the loft on the first floor and the guest rooms and bedrooms in the basement.

You enter the villa at the front via the large high wooden doors. Immediately you see the long swimming pool of fifteen meters and a magnificent view over Bonaire and the Caribbean Sea. On the right side you will find the lounge room, which connects to a large sun terrace. On the left the large kitchen is situated. Equipped with European appliances from the brand Miele, ventilation in the cabinets and a stainless steel top. The kitchen connects directly to the outdoor terrace with swimming pool and lounge area. Adjacent to the kitchen there is a scullery and a cold store of more than 55 sq.ft., where you can store all your food on temperature. There is also a guest toilet on this level.

The large loft of 1200 sq.ft on the first floor consists of a sleeping area, a very spacious sitting area with desk and a luxurious bathroom. The sanitary is from the designer brand Clou and Grohe. At the front of the loft there is a balcony from which you have a beautiful view over the island. Via the aluminum sliding doors on the side of the loft you reach the roof terrace of almost 2150 sq.ft. The climate in the loft is very pleasant because of the ventilation shutter system. Air conditioning is not really necessary here, however, it is present.

In the basement there are two guest accommodations with a total of three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Both the living room -with open kitchen- in the guest rooms and the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. Each apartment also has its own outdoor terrace with swimming pool. Both guest accommodations are accessible via inside but each also has a separate outside entrance. Furthermore there is a massage room in the basement and an extra bedroom with bathroom. Also you will find here the laundry room, two large storage rooms and a room with five large tanks for the collection of rainwater that is used for the swimming pools and the drip system in the garden. There is an additional storage room of approximately 650 sq.ft. under the swimming pool.

With regard to technology, everything has been thought of. To begin with, the sophisticated lighting plan with LED lighting in various colors, with which the villa can be brought to any desired atmosphere. On the roof there are 18 solar panels and a hot water solar water heater. A Heos sound system has been installed on the ground floor and in the loft. There are five security cameras with recording function and a videophone with camera at the entrance. The villa is equipped with 220 Volt voltage and in the kitchen and bathrooms is also 110 volts.

All in all, this is a real Top villa as you find it in Beverly Hills, but for Bonaire it is absolutely unique. And if you also consider the villa as an investment, the rental prices are currently about USD 1100 to USD 1500 per day.
