Silver Hill Plantation – 2558 acres
Established in 1727 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996
This beautiful riverfront hunting plantation is located two miles from the historic seaport Georgetown. The Silver Hill house was built circa 1794 and is situated on a high point overlooking the rice fields and river. Expanses of oaks and longleaf pines provide excellent upland shooting with miles of riding trails. There are managed rice fields for migratory waterfowl. It is a spectacular place.
