Debbie Sinagoga graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa, with a B.A. degree in French, Business Management and Communications. While at Central College, she studied at the University of Paris/Sorbonne, as well as taught English at two middle schools in Bordeaux, France. Debbie has traveled extensively throughout Europe, the United Kingdom, Africa and Mexico and speaks French fluently.
After her adventures in France, Debbie returned to her alma mater to serve as a Study Abroad Advisor to undergraduate students wanting to spend a semester or a year overseas on one of eight programs in Mexico, China and Europe. This experience convinced Debbie to move to Arizona to pursue graduate studies at Arizona State University and Thunderbird/American Graduate School of International Management. At this same time, Debbie was also awarded a Rotary Scholarship to study in Costa Rica, which she forewent in lieu of a career in the corporate world.
Prior to her entry into the real estate industry, Debbie spent eight years in the global telecommunications industry working for companies such as Cable & Wireless and Global Crossing. She held several sales positions and regional management roles with both the direct sales and the alternate sales channels of these companies.
Her entry into the real estate industry was strongly supported by her husband, Richard Sinagoga, owner of RS Homes, an award-winning custom home building company in North Scottsdale (www.rshomes.com). It seemed a natural transition away from a downward-spiraling telecommunications industry in 2001-2002 to a prosperous and productive real estate market. Since obtaining her real estate license in July 2002 and her Broker's license in December 2007, Debbie has worked for two new home communities, Privada at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale and Quisana, both located in North Scottsdale, as well as for some phenomenal real estate companies such as Coldwell Banker and, currently, Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty.
Education is critical to Debbie's professional growth and development, evidenced by earning both her GRI designation and EcoBroker certification, as well as being selected for the prestigious Leadership Program through the Scottsdale Area Association of REALTORs.
Giving back to the community is also an integral part of what personifies Debbie Sinagoga , which is reflective in her involvement with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Arizona. In 2004 and 2005, she served as Logistics Chairperson for the annual black-tie fundraising event, the Wish Ball, and in 2006 and 2007, was honored with the role of Chairperson for this annual event. Currently, Debbie is the Co-Director of the highly successful realtor organization called Pinnacle Peak RMS, which is a group of North Scottsdale real estate professionals who meet to discuss current topics, share information about the local community and tour homes to learn more about the real estate market.
Debbie focuses her expertise by working with clients looking for custom and luxury homes, as well as custom home sites, in the North Scottsdale, North Phoenix, Paradise Valley, Carefree, Cave Creek and Fountain Hills communities. Most of her clients are either relocating to the Scottsdale area or are looking for a secondary home. However, her clientele also consists of local residents looking to move up market or to downsize based upon lifestyle. "Most of my clients are new to the area, so my first role as a real estate professional is to educate them on the community as it pertains to their lifestyle. I like to refer to myself as the “walking chamber of commerce representative for North Scottsdale”! I want to make sure my clients are purchasing a home which not only meets their needs but is also conducive to the activities, education, entertainment and work they do when they are here. Having relocated from the Midwest myself, having sent two children through several school systems in the Scottsdale area, currently living in the Troon area of North Scottsdale, and conducting my daily life in the area where I do my real estate business, I know, live and breathe Scottsdale. I realize that moving is stressful and often difficult. I want to make my clients’ transition enjoyable, memorable and stress-free!"
