In March 2003, Forde began his residential real estate career with Jenny Pruitt & Associates, which merged into Harry Norman, Realtors in June 2009, and achieved the Million Dollar Club level in his first ten months. He earned the Life Member Million Dollar Club designation in 2007 and has produced over $24 million of residential sales. His home sales experience includes areas throughout Atlanta - with a concentration in the Buckhead community - ranging from a $155,000 condominium to a $2.6 million, 3 acre estate.
Forde is a native of Augusta, Georgia and has lived in Atlanta since 1977. He and his wife, Carter - an interior designer with her own firm, Carter Kay Interiors - reside in the Chastain Park area of Buckhead. An active and involved father of three, Forde has served as a Facilitator at Woodward Academy in the nationally recognized "Parent to Parent" Program. He is proud to have completed the 60 mile Atlanta 3-Day Walk for Breast Cancer in 2005 and 2009, raising $13,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Forde is a regular blood donor to the Red Cross and he reads weekly for the blind on the Georgia Radio Reading Service (GARRS).
A 1975 graduate of Vanderbilt University, Forde spent nearly 15 years in advertising sales where he was Southeastern sales manager in the Atlanta office for Southern Accents Magazine. His exposure to fine architecture, interiors and gardens through his association with this well-respected publication and Carter's keen professional eye, combined with his devotion to personal service, make him the ideal source for your residential real estate needs.
His completion of the 1996 Boston Marathon and the 1997 New York Marathon further assure his commitment to go the extra mile to achieve his clients' goals. He is a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors, the Georgia Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Forde is an elder at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, where he has taught Sunday school, served as an usher and as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
