James Sewart

I grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago and I traveled the country selling arts and crafts products that we created for the school supply industry.

Ruth and I married in 1987 when we blended our families that now includes five children and six grandchildren who are scattered around the country. We enjoy cooking, baking and candy making, movies, dining out. My candy specialties are fudge and caramels which I deliver to clients at holiday time, Valentines Day, Mothers' Day, Easter, and Thanksgiving. I am also an avid bike rider and reader.

We joined Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty in 2003 when we decided that we had scraped ice and snow off of our last windshield. I love doing open houses and connecting with buyer and sellers from around the country. The R J Team (Ruth Sewart, Jan Collins and James Sewart) enjoys assisting our clients find the home that fits their lifestyle.
