A Houston resident for more than 50 years, Dianne McDonough has been a licensed Realtor® since 1985. An alumnae of the University of Houston, she worked in an administrative position for Continental Airlines for 15 years before pursuing a career in real estate. “I have a love of architecture, so it was a great fit,” she says. “The best career advice I ever received was, ‘enjoy what you do, and you will strive to do it well.’”
A resident of the Lamar Tower High Rise in River Oaks, and a previous resident of Bellaire for 33 years, Dianne knows those areas well, as well as West U and Memorial. Born in Galveston, “I [also] know that area intimately,” she says. Knowledgeable about contracts and the Houston market, Dianne is known for her ability to work with people in various situations and her flexibility to adapt to changing situations. “I have a desire to help people make difficult choices,” she says.
A member of the Galveston Artillery Club, Dianne has worked with many local charities and organizations over the years, including the Heart Association, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and the Houston Symphony, Opera and Ballet. Her hobbies include Mah Jongg (a classic Chinese puzzle game), art and sewing.
