Broker associate Jeanne Marosis enjoys the entire real estate process, from showing houses to closing a transaction, because “it is a wonderful thrill every time you help your clients own the house they love! The same is true when a Seller is happy with the sale of their home.” Having developed a keen sense of organization and attention to detail as a young copywriter in the fashion advertising business, Jeanne brought those skills to real estate sales and used her writing experience in doing volunteer publicity for a number of organizations.
Her patience, reliability, service and knowledge of real estate have brought her a huge number of repeat clients and referrals over the years. In some cases entire families have sought Jeanne, “from grandmother to grandsons,” to handle all their real estate transactions. Active not only in real estate sales but in the community as well, Jeanne was featured in a magazine tribute to single mothers, was named one of “95 people to know in West U,” and has served on several boards including Friends of West U Parks, Chi Omega Kaleidoscope and Lamar High School PTA.
This year marks the 37th anniversary of her association with John Daugherty, Realtors, an accomplishment in itself, which bespeaks loyalty, tenacity and a goal of aligning with a company which aspires to integrity and principle. What has been her best career advice from John Daugherty? “To be a better salesperson, be a better listener!”
Currently Jeanne is active in several social organizations and spends whatever spare time she has traveling. As a young widow, she was left to rear two teenagers alone. Now that her children are grown, she “loves seeing the world through the eyes of her two beautiful granddaughters” who adoringly call her “Gigi.”
