Dan Drantch is a licensed Real Estate Broker currently affiliated with Rodeo Realty in Sherman Oaks, California. Dan started his Real Estate career in 1984, joining the firm of MP Investment Development in Sherman Oaks as Acquisitions Director and Associate Broker for the office. The job entailed locating and acquiring land for the development and future sales of apartment buildings in the San Fernando Valley as well as selling single family residential homes. In addition, Dan contributed to the start up of First Equity Financial, a residential wholesale loan division for single family homes, which entailed meeting with and qualifying the clients, taking and processing the loan application through the approval process with the lender involved.
In 1994, Dan moved on and joined the firm Century 21 Exclusive Realtors in North Hollywood in order to work on REO's with lenders in the single family market. Dan continued to specialize in land and apartment sales as well.
As Dan's career continued to grow, he felt he needed a company that had more of a market presence, market share and branding. He found that in Coldwell Banker and joined the Encino office in 1998. His career continued to flourish in the sales of land, apartments and single family residences. Working closely with investors, developers and contractors, Dan became one of the top producers for the office, acquiring many awards along the way, culminating with "The Society of Excellence" award as the #1 agent award in the office and #34 in all of Southern California in 2006. One of his many accomplishments was assembling 18 different parcels of multi-family land in North Hollywood that had existing improvements on them and selling them all to a local developer who then entitled the project for 268 new apartment building units ready for construction. Dan then listed, marketed and sold the project to another Southern California developer for over $23,000,000.
In 2007, Dan decided to move to Re/Max Commercial in Sherman Oaks, where he lives, to be closer to home for his family. Dan was very excited to be working in such a prestigious office with many experienced agents like him. Dan continued to work closely with clients to list and sell land for development, apartment buildings and new construction projects in the greater Los Angeles area. He also established "The Drantch Group" that operated under the residential division. The Drantch Group lists and sells new construction, single family residences, condominium projects, existing homes, luxury estates and REO's.
In 2008, Dan was recognized as the #5 agent at Re/Max Commercial in Sherman Oaks and #36 worldwide for all of Re/Max Commercial.
In 2009, Dan and his group continued their successful ways working closely with builders selling land for development, new condominium projects, tract homes and luxury estates as well as Asset Managers selling existing single family residences, estates and condominiums. The Drantch Group closed over 100 escrows and Dan was named the #1 agent in all of Re/Max in California and Hawaii.
In 2010, The Drantch Group transitioned from Re/Max Commercial to Rodeo Realty in Sherman Oaks without missing a beat. Focusing on a changing market place, which they adapted to, they continued selling new homes, estates, investment properties and REO's. As The Drantch Group expanded, they closed out the year with over 80 closed sales, becoming the #2 Rodeo Realty Team companywide in a very short time span.
In 2011, Dan Drantch and his team continued down the path of success by closing over 60 escrows. Working together with several developers acquiring land and marketing new construction estate homes, tract homes and condominium projects, as well as selling REO's and income properties. The Drantch Group's diversity and expertise in several different areas of sales propelled them once again as the number two team in the entire Rodeo Realty company. Thus, achieving the Foundation Award for 2011.
In 2012, The Drantch Group has already surpassed last year's closings and is on track for a record breaking year in sales and production. Adapting to the market place by working on different segments within the market has allowed Dan and his team to achieve these goals in a very competitive environment while continuing to expand their business and forge new relationships with developers, banks, investors as well as resale owners. One of Dan's accomplishments was listing and selling a brand new 48 unit apartment building in Valley Village, California for over Fifteen Million dollars to an investor. The Drantch Group achieved the Chairman Award for 2012, Rodeo Realty's highest award given out to their top agents.
In 2013, The Drantch Group amassed over 90 sales with Dan Drantch personally selling 56 properties in what many considered a down year in the real estate business cycle. Once again by representing a diverse group of investors and developers throughout Los Angeles and marketing their brand new single family homes, estates and condominium projects, The Drantch Group established themselves as the #1 residential sales group in The San Fernando Valley. With new projects under construction, Dan and his group are looking forward to an exciting and prosperous 2014 by continuing to build his relationships and marketing brand throughout Los Angeles. The Drantch Group was recognized and awarded the Foundation Circle in 2013, the company's second highest award given out among agents.
In 2014, with minimal residential inventory available throughout the year, The Drantch Group continued make to make headlines by listing the prestigious brand new 25 unit condominium project called "The Montecito" in Sherman Oaks. In addition his group marketed two more affordable small lot townhome projects, one a 30 unit in Pacoima and the other a 17 unit in Sylmar, while obtaining record sale prices and the highest price per square foot per unit not seen in those areas for a long time. Along with selling some luxury estate homes and resale homes, The Drantch Group achieved another award winning year by taking home the Presidents Circle award for 2014.
In 2015, with low inventory of residential homes now the new norm for the San Fernando Valley and all of Los Angeles, Dan Drantch of The Drantch Group continued his successful trend by closing over 36 transactions. Working closely with his team, they successfully closed a brand-new luxury condominium project known as "The Monticito" in Sherman Oaks along with new construction townhomes in the NOHO arts district called "The Lexington". In addition, The Drantch Group sold several new estate homes, existing single family homes and a select number of condominiums and land parcels throughout the Los Angeles area. The Drantch Group once again was recognized with the President's Elite Circle award for another successful year.
What a year 2016 turned out to be for The Drantch Group! Starting off the year with the debut of "Riverben Villas", a brand new 17 home subdivision in Valley Village that fetched record prices, to closing out the year with the sale of an 86-unit multifamily land parcel that sold for over $6 million dollars. In between, Dan met a new development company in orange county who became one if his biggest clients of the year. Dan sold several large land pieces as well as single family homes in orange county and the San Fernando Valley for them and continues to maintain a strong relationship with them. In addition, Dan listed and sold several new estate homes as well as land to build new custom home tracts and small lot subdivisions taking The Drantch Group to another record year, the second best all time in his 33 year real estate career. The focus on 2017 will be continuing the trend of establishing new relationships with different sectors of the industry while maintaining the high level of professional and quality service that my clients expect from The Drantch Group.
