Kristy attended Castro Valley High School where her love of horses drew her to active involvement in the Castro Valley Palomares 4-H, an organization focused on hands-on learning activities in the areas of science, healthy living and food security.
Kristy Peixoto married her high school sweetheart, John Peixoto, and together they have raised two boys on their ranch in Castro valley. Joshua Peixoto and Kasey Peixoto have become active members of Castro Valley and the surrounding communities while still calling a 91-acre estate their home. The family continues to be actively involved in the ranch life while raising cattle, horses, rottweilers, bull dogs, and Catahoula, a special breed of dogs prized for their tracking and hunting skills.
Kristy is actively involved with the community and works closely with the Rowell Ranch Rodeo, the Alameda County Planning Commission, and the Alameda County Fair held annually at the Pleasanton Fair Grounds. These events draw crowds from across the country and are a great source of pride for the surrounding communities of Pleasanton, Livermore, Castro Valley, San Ramon, Dublin, and Sunol.
Kristy is a very active part of the community and has been active in real estate sales for over fifteen years, focusing on selling homes, ranches, estates, and land. Having lived with her own ranch estate, including over 90 acres of land, Kristy knows how to deal with wells, creeks, pastures, and even septic systems.
