Sergio Pucci

Sergio Pucci studied business, marketing, photography and graphic design. He's been a photographer in Costa Rica for over 25 years, and as a true Costa Rica lover and an ICT country brand ambassador, he’s been a factor to shaping the international image of the country as a nature-oriented nation. He is well known for some of the best-selling Costa Rica coffee table books, such as “Costa Rica from above”, and 10 other titles, which he publishes along with his father and brother.

His work has been exhibited in places like the World Museum San Francisco California, the Munich Theater and the Natural History Museum in London. One of his photos was selected by what is known as “the Oscars of photography”, by BBC & London Natural History Museum Wildlife Photographer of the Year. Also, he’s been chosen by National Geographic and London BBC to film for some of the most prestigious nature documentaries in the world such as Blue Planet 2.

As a surfer he loves living in the coast, but also has been to every corner of Costa Rica, and has combined this passion with shooting some of the most refined houses and hotels in the country.

His restless spirit has led him into filmmaking, where he’s been part of many productions, including his own produced and directed movie “Güilas”, one of the biggest box office successes in the country, which is a nostalgic portrait of his childhood in Costa Rica.
