Wayne Meredith

I was born in Gunnison and graduated from Western State College. My family homesteaded near Gunnison in the late 1880's and we've been here ever since. I've lived in Crested Butte for the past 40 years and my wife and daughters were born here. Over that time I've ridden, hiked, skied, hunted or fished most of Gunnison County. I have worked at lots of different jobs here from paperboy to business owner, cowboy to Real Estate Broker. I have done several developments in Crested Butte and Gunnison County, including the Kapushion Annexation which has been recognized by environmental groups for it's use of Conservation Easements to preserve open space. I am very familiar with Crested Butte and County zoning and building regulations. I have also managed the family ranch and I have dealt with water issues and water rights in Coal Creek, Slate River and the East River. I believe that this knowledge and experience gives me a unique perspective on the Real Estate Market in the valley.
