Corlies Black

Corlies "Cori" Black grew up on Block Island and attended the Block Island School, graduating in 2009. After high school, Cori attended the University of Rhode Island and graduated in 2014 with a degree in Gender & Women's Studies and a minor in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising, and Design with a concentration in Interior Design. Cori splits her time between Block Island and Wickford, RI where she owns a home with her partner of twelve years, Nate. Cori's dog Stormy, a Wheaten Terrier, often accompanies her to the office and loves being able to meet new people as our official office "greeter."

Cori is a licensed sales associate and enjoys working with buyers and sellers to facilitate harmonious real estate transactions that work best for all parties. She has a strong focus for details and loves the research aspect of real estate. You can be sure that when you ask Cori to uncover the details of a listing, you will get a thorough report!

She also works as Ballard Hall Sales Group's administrative assistant and is responsible for marketing, advertising, bookkeeping, and general office duties. She is the mastermind behind our website and is constantly on the lookout for new technology that can advance the capabilities of our office. Cori works deligently each week to update our advertisements in the Block Island Times and to maintain our social media presence. She enjoys collaborating with other agents in the office to create a cohesive and exciting marketing strategy, including promotional materials, for new properties and the business in general. With a background in design, Cori has the eye for the latest trends and the ability to interpret them in a way that works for our industry. In addition to her capabilities as an agent, Cori also assists the team with home staging, when needed, to help our listings appear in the best possible light.

Cori is a partner in Ballard Hall Sales Group, having created the business with Robin Lewis Vila and Gail Hall in 2021.
