By leveraging my extensive network and 20+ years of documented success in marketing, sales, negotiation, business development, economic development, consulting, public policy, real estate and building technology organizations, I am equipped and committed to helping people navigate the complexities of purchasing real estate. Community Involvement and Leadership: I am a native Arizonan and am highly involved in the local community. I served 2 terms as the President of the Board of Directors for Waste Not AZ and served 10+ years on the Board of Trustees for The Phoenix Zoo & Arizona Center for Nature Conservation. I served on the ASPSO Board for Archway Classical Academy Scottsdale (a Great Hearts Academy) and now on the Capital Campaign for Scottsdale Prep Academy. I served on the Board of Directors at I-ology, Inc., SEI-Phoenix LLC & SEI-Dallas LLC and as an Assoc. Professor of Practice at ASU in Tempe, AZ. I am a proud member of the Phoenix Association of Realtors, AZ Tech Council & HIMSS, a member of Phoenix Country Club, the USGA and USA Triathlon. Additionally, I serve as a coach in youth baseball and as a den leader with the Cub Scouts. Lastly, I am a devoted husband of 15 years to my wife, Trish Bear-Detzer (also a Scottsdale based entrepreneur and community leader), and a proud father to our 3 amazing children.
