Richard and his wife Elaine work together to assist Colorado families and international executives to sell or purchase exceptional residences in Colorado and around the world. Their emphasis is on achieving the value proposition for the buyer or seller, and they bring a unique understanding of their clients' families' requirements during a period of transition to a new home. They employ Sotheby's extensive global research, analytical and marketing resources to achieving the clients' residential, value and lifestyle objectives.
With over 25 years' working with international CEO's and Executives, Richard has extensive experience in residential and commercial real estate and has a strong understanding of real estate value and financing. Richard has been licensed for Real Estate in Colorado for over thirteen years, and his experience includes financing for one of the first New York residential condominium towers associated with a leading international art museum, developing real estate investment Funds with target commitments of $250 million, and sponsoring and managing residential property re-development and condominium conversions in New York City and Colorado. Richard has served as the President and COO of a U.S. based Real Estate Investment Trust.
Many of Richard's real estate activities occurred while serving as Managing Director of a private corporate finance advisory firm. Richard previously served as a Managing Director for Smith Barney Inc., where he managed activities in the Middle East, Japan and East Asia. Richard also served as an officer with the Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City, London and Riyadh. Richard has lived or worked throughout the U.S. as well as in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Richard holds an undergraduate engineering degree from the U.S., studied in Munich, Germany and attended post graduate studies at the London School of Economics and Connecticut College.
