Robert (Bob) Canberg was born in Brooklyn to a family of firefighters - five generations and counting. Upon retirement from a career in the US Armed Forces as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division, Bob joined the New York City Fire Department and served with Rescue Company 2 and 4.
After retiring from the FDNY, Bob settled on Long Island and built homes for discerning clients on the North and South Forks. From Montauk to Aquebogue, Bob has built homes with luxurious details and sound foundations. As a retired firefighter, Bob knows that the best and safest constructions are made with attention to quality.
Today, Bob’s zest for working with people, his expertise in building homes and solving problems has culminated in his joining Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty where his eye for property, his broad knowledge of the East End and his home construction background come together to help his clients buy or sell the home of their dreams.
