Suzanne Read Wilutis joins the real estate sales team at Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty. Suzanne brings with her a lifetime of involvement with the Shelter Island community, where she has spent summers since childhood, and an in-depth working knowledge of the Shelter Island real estate market.After earning her business degree in accounting from Loyola University, Maryland, Suzanne became a Certified Public Accountant, working at the firm of Arthur Andersen and later, Morgan Stanley in New York. In 2000, Suzanne and her husband returned to Shelter Island on a full-time basis and she expanded her career to include real estate, construction and development, joining her father’s firm, Read Custom Homes, Inc. and Osprey Realty.Suzanne has worked extensively in the field of custom home building, real estate sales and development, alongside her father and brother, completing dozens of custom construction projects, real estate acquisitions, land development and sub-divisions on the East End. Suzanne and her husband raise their four children on Shelter Island and in Southampton. Suzanne is the Chairperson of the Junior Golf Program at Gardiners Bay Country Club, and a Trustee at Our Lady of the Isle Parish.Suzanne’s expertise in business and accounting, coupled with her extensive experience in construction and real estate development on the East End, enable her to provide clients and customers with a unique multidimensional insight into the real estate market.
