Description

“Find something you love to do, and you'll never have to work a day in your life"by Harvey MacKayAttending FIT, I studied interior design and marketing. My creative eye for detail, staging and space planning have been essential assets whether discussing a home's potential for buyers or advising sellers on ways to achieve the highest price for their property. In 1988 my real estate career began with co-ops, condos & homeowner associations, on site, new development sales. (The Hunt Club, Jericho, NY; The Pinnacle, Forest Hills, NY; Roslyn Landing, Roslyn, NY).2001, I knew that the only thing that could make me love my job more, would be to join Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty, Long Island's North Shore real estate leader for more than 95 years. I think the most effective measure of success is performance. An excellent barometer is the satisfied clientele that show their confidence and trust by continually recommending new prospects. My successful career is a direct result of my relationships with clients and customers that span many of life's chapters. The sale or purchase of a home can be a very emotional experience. The skill required to hold a deal together and negotiate effectively, with all parties satisfied, is a learned skill acquired through many, many years of experience. The negotiating skills I have demonstrated cannot be overstated. They are key to the real estate transaction and to my successful career as a real estate broker. When representing the sale of one of my listings, I work diligently for the seller to achieve the desired end result. However, when working with buyers, I have chosen to offer “Buyer Agency”. I am therefore able to provide client level service to buyers as an agent who is advocating on their behalf, instead of the sellers. (Without “Buyer Agency”, all agents work directly or indirectly for, and in, the best interest of the seller). A buyer agent becomes of great value when purchasing a new home. My best advice to sellers is to keep the appropriate perspective. This is a business transaction. The goal is to create the most competitive selling environment. This is accomplished with knowledge and careful analysis of the current market conditions in the designated market place. My ability to foster a competitive climate around the home is what will ultimately drive the home to its highest possible selling price. Residing and raising my children in Great Neck for 30 years, my real estate career has taken me along the North Shore of Long Island from Bayside to the Brookville's. I have earned many prestigious awards and designations along the way.I serve on the Board of Directors of the Baybridge Condominium HOA as Vice President and Condo I, President. As a member of Daniel Gale Relocation Advisory council, I make moves to and from Long Island a smooth process. I am an avid participant and volunteer at the Northwell Schneider Children's Hospital and Zucker Hillside Hospital. Supporter and fundraiser to St. Christopher's Inn Men's Homeless Shelter, Garrison, NY
