Selling Real Estate was a natural transition for Susan with her love and knowledge of old buildings, and new creative construction. Her prior business acumen has proven beneficial with negotiations, understanding the bottom line with sellers, buyers, developers, and investors, and working through the myriad of issues that can arise with any transaction. Both her commercial and residential clients have benefited.
Customer service is a premier aspect of Susan’s work ethic. After owning her own business for more than 26 years, she feels an obligation to her clients to bring the best deal possible to completion. Her motivation is not just for the end result, the process is equally important to her. Some of the premier commercial properties Susan has sold are: both the listing and selling side of the beautiful Malo Mansion next to the Governors Mansion. A new studio for Vital Yoga in the Highlands. The Von Tornow, and Tina Goodwin Gallery in the Golden Triangle that opened March 2011, as well as the headquarters for the Burton Snowboard showroom. Her listing of Eron Johnsons Antiques at 451 Broadway was a wonderful building that sold in the Summer of 2013. She also found the space that Charcoal Restaurant is currently enjoying on 9th and Broadway.
A third generation Denver Native, Susan Henderson has spent most of her adult life traveling the world, beginning with Semester at Sea. After college, and over the next decade, Susan lived in New York, Paris, Milan, and Oslo, the last being an entre into a Denver based business she began in 1984. Bik Bok opened in Cherry Creek North, and was a premier clothing store for men and women for close to a decade. Henderson was profiled in the Denver Business Journal, and Denver Post when she managed to get her clothes on the Bill Cosby show.
Her penchant for being an entrepreneur, importer, as well as a passionate traveler, inspired her to start another business in 1998, Trog de Lights; and antique lighting business. Some of her acquisitions can be seen in many high-profile homes in Denver’s finest neighborhoods, as well as some commercial applications, including the Teatro Hotel. She sold this company in September of 2011.
Susan is fluent in French and Norwegian and resides SE Denver with her husband. She has two children, and two step children.

“Susan Henderson has helped me to acquire three properties. Her inside knowledge of the Denver Country Club allowed me to find a true jewel in my price range. In finalizing that sale, her quick thinking and action on an issue that arose, saved the transaction. Without her attentiveness, we would have not been able to close. More recently, she helped me purchase a commercial property, which suited my specific needs. This solid fine building is an unusual find, in precisely the neighborhood I wanted.” Susan Brown Inventor, Founder; Boppy Co.
