Prior to starting Oliver Luxury Real Estate, Michael Oliver was a top broker in the Lake Tahoe area. After 8 years of successful sales and network growth in a large firm, Oliver decided to step away from the corporate environment, and offer the luxury real estate market what it needed most- a superior boutique organization that offers clients highly personalized service and attention, and delivers consistent satisfaction.
In 2007, Oliver opened his first office out of a historic cabin on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. Seeing flaws in the corporate model used by real estate firms throughout the area, Oliver knew he wanted to create a brokerage with a new, personalized structure; one that encouraged agents to take initiative and become impassioned by excellence in service. He focused on the fundamentals of boutique, concierge-style service, elegant marketing, and attention to detail. He built a company culture that embraced a small community and the mountain lifestyle. Although he started Oliver Luxury Real Estate with only one other broker, the company quickly expanded. Soon, the reputation of Oliver Luxury Real Estate’s quality of service had spread throughout Lake Tahoe, and beyond.
