Susan learned to conquer a challenge very early in life. Her father’s work meant the family had to move every three years, and each time Susan had to adjust to a new environment and make new friends. She gained two very valuable skills from the experience: the ability to relate to people, and the flexibility to adapt to any situation. These skills would prove especially valuable in Susan’s successful career in the office equipment and business support solutions industry.
Susan began her career as the only woman in what was then a male-dominated sales force. They did not expect her to succeed. Susan proved them wrong by not only excelling, but also advancing in the industry—first into sales management, and then as an outsourcing manager providing product, service and technology to Fortune 500 companies across Canada, as well as other local professional organizations. Over the years she built a reputation as a professional who consistently exceeded the expectations of her clients.
A Heart for Giving Back
The same drive to excel that’s compelled Susan’s professional success has fueled her charitable work as well, especially with animal shelters. As a child Susan was bitten twice by a dog and very much afraid of them. But as an adult, she was moved by the plight of a dog that had been severely abused. Susan overcame her fear and adopted Casey, a Sheltie Cross. She soon discovered Casey was terminally ill and made sure to make his last months as comfortable as possible. And when Casey died, Susan began volunteering at the animal shelter where she had adopted him.

The desire to not just excel but to exceed expectations is the foundation of Susan’s success in real estate. On a professional level it’s the driving force behind her commitment to ongoing education. Susan continues to add to her already superb knowledge by pursuing additional designations and licenses, including her broker’s license and certification as a CSP (Certified Staging Professional). “The more I learn, the better service and support I can provide,” she says.
