Kelsey Meyers was born and raised in Silicon Valley and then moved with her family to Boise, Idaho, where she attended high school and later graduated from Boise State University. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and an Associate’s degree in Computer Networking and Web Design.
Kelsey previously worked in I.T. as a support agent for Apple computer. This developed her technical and problem solving skills and taught her how to provide exceptional customer service to a broad array of customers. She was introduced to the world of real estate while working as a Leasing Specialist at a luxury apartment community in Midtown. There she learned how to qualify and understand the needs of her clients, and ultimately, find their perfect place to “call home.” She also learned the importance of staying highly involved in every step of the process, from residential selection to move in and move out. Kelsey’s customers appreciate her attention to detail and hands-on approach to the entire life cycle of their lease.
Since childhood, Kelsey has had a deep appreciation of architecture, interior design and everything that goes into creating a beautiful, comfortable and functional living space. She was drawn to the Realtor profession because it offers a tremendous amount of freedom, flexibility and creativity, as well as virtually no limits for growth and success. She truly enjoys the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. Houston draws a highly diverse population, and their stories and backgrounds are fascinating and inspiring. She helps her clients determine what will make them happy in both the short and long term, by asking great questions and really listening to what they have to say.
In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys reading, cooking, yoga, organic gardening and spending time with family and friends. She has recently become involved with the volunteer organization “Recipes for Success” which teaches grade-school children about growing food and cooking from scratch. She finds it incredibly rewarding to watch a garden flourish, with a little time, attention and patience, and finds many parallels to “cultivating success” in the business world. Kelsey is currently single, with no children or pets, but would love to have a family someday (and of course, live in her dream home!).
