Margarita Jacobs, a Russian-born, Texas-bred Houstonian, possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as fine-tuned attention to detail. “At the end of the day, my clients want results, and I will always go the extra mile to ensure that their experience is both enjoyable and as stress-free as possible.” Margarita’s clients have come to rely on her attentiveness, responsiveness, and diligence. “The home decision is too personal to rely on some cookie-cutter approach; being able to adapt to specific situations and needs is how I can best provide clients with the JDR experience.”
A resident of Bellaire, Margarita is also familiar with West University, the Medical Center, Tanglewood (including the Galleria area), and River Oaks, as well as other Inner Loop areas.
Margarita moved to Houston from Belarus at the age of 4. “My parents and their story are an inspiration, an example of all that is good about the American dream.” A Texan at heart, Margarita didn’t stray far from Houston, earning a finance degree from McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, where she was also a member of Alpha Kappa Psi. After five years in consulting and financial analysis, Margarita chose to pursue a career in real estate because “I enjoy the human interaction, and I know that success for my clients is defined by results.” She adds, “What makes this job special to me is that it’s not about finding a house, it’s about finding a home.”
Conversational in Russian and Hebrew, Margarita lives with her husband, Mike, and dog, Toby. She enjoys travel, the arts, tennis, and working out. Active in her community, she is a regular volunteer at Texas Children’s Hospital. “Bringing joy to any child is a gift in itself, especially a child whose life has taken a step back.”
