Born and raised in the costal town of Duxbury, Massachusetts, Myles has lived throughout the United States: in San Diego, Fort Wayne, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and finally Charleston, as well as internationally in Sydney, Australia and Luxembourg, Luxembourg. Myles currently holds residency in Australia, New Zealand and Luxembourg.
Myles completed his undergraduate degree at San Diego State University. He attended graduate school at The University of Sydney in Sydney, Australia, earning a master’s degree in project management.
Myles worked for American Airlines for a decade in various roles and in various cities. Passionate about revenue, analysis and consumer products, he went on to accept a headquarters role with Princess Cruises in their Onboard Revenue division. He oversaw growth and simplification in the cruise industry’s technology products and services. While attending graduate school, his experience and natural curiosity in technology and process improvement led him to a position at NextGen Gaming, the world’s leading independent supplier of digital games to the gambling industry. Gaining experience in implementing complex technology projects made him a natural fit for his next role as an implementation project manager at the European logistics company Kuehne + Nagel.
Customer service, analysis, marketing, product management, project management, process improvement, innovation and negotiation are all critical to success in real estate which is why he is a natural fit at Handsome Properties, Inc.
He has travelled extensively, currently clocking in at 74 countries and all 7 continents. Never in his lifetime would he have thought that an innocent trip to Charleston would change his life forever. Charleston was like nothing he had ever seen or experienced before and immediately knew it was where he wanted to put down his roots.
The list of things he loves about Charleston is quite long, but what he likes most is the friendliness of the people, the elegance, the optimistic energy and the thriving social scene. He loves that Charleston is not just a city, but a lifestyle!
