Jordan Ittersagen is a native Floridian, born and raised in this area. She grew up swimming in the Gulf of Mexico and playing in the sand dunes on Little Gasparilla Island where her grandparents reside. Jordan is an avid tennis player. After training under touring professionals, John Eagleton and Johan Kriek, she accepted an athletic scholarship to play tennis at Palm Beach Atlantic University. While in college, Jordan helped the National Christian College Athletic Association volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and she also volunteered with First Serve of the Palm Beaches teaching tennis to underprivileged children.
Jordan went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical and Social/Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida. Not long after graduation, she realized that there is “no place like home!” She returned home to the unique lifestyle of Southwest Florida.
Jordan comes from a real estate background. Her father, Scott, has been a real estate attorney in Boca Grande and Englewood for over 30 years and her mother, Tamara, was also a realtor on Boca Grande. Her grandparents, Midge and Chuck O’Hara, are brokers in the area. Jordan decided to follow their footsteps and dive into real estate!
She learned the ins and outs of real estate transactions while working at the BIG W Law Firm in Boca Grande and Englewood. Once she learned the closing process, she wanted to develop skills in real estate sales. Jordan joined Gulf Coast International Properties, Boca Grande as Bob Melvin's transaction coordinator and assistant. Now she is excited to be a licensed real estate agent as a part of Bob Melvin’s team!
In her free time, Jordan enjoys walking the beach at the Boca Grande Club, spending time with family and friends, and participating in the island tennis tournaments (2015 & 2016 & 2017 Boca Beacon Gasparilla Island Tennis Classic Women’s Doubles Champ). Jordan looks forward to helping you find your little piece of paradise in Southwest Florida!
