I had the best experience possible when selling a property in Salt Lake City with Scott as our agent. I owned along with my mother two rental properties (a large front house and a smaller rear house) located on a single lot. My daughter and her husband highly recommended Scott to me (he had handled 3 property transactions for them) when my mother passed and her Estate decided to sell her share of the property, and I agreed to sell my share. Scott advised obtaining an appraisal to better advise me and the Estate on whether the best use of the property was an investment property or a single family home and a rental unit. After making his own assessment and using the appraisal, Scott advised us that the best value would be a sale of the front home as owner occupied and the rear home as a rental. Scott then recommended the improvements to be made to the front home and arranged for those improvements and landscaping improvements of the entire lot with contractors with whom he had prior experience. They all performed exceptionally well. Scott then arranged the staging of furnishings in the front home. The transformation was incredible. The front home had truly become a different house. The property was then listed by Scott at a price that exceeded the appraised value plus the costs of the improvements. Within a week of listing, we had contracted for the sale of the property for more than the listed price. Scott then assisted us throughout the closing. WOW. If there was a category among superheroes for a realtor, Scott would be the man for the job. He's been nothing but a pleasure to deal with.
