Broker Monnie Elliott brings more than 30 years of real estate industry and management experience, along with luxury customer service expertise to LIV Sotheby's International Realty. A third generation Colorado native whose family settled Aspen and the Vail Valley in the 1800s, Monnie applies an adventurous spirit and entrepreneurial approach to benefit her clients in their real estate endeavors. Monnie is a first woman graduate of Regis University and has completed graduate work at Denver University and Boston University.
With experience in the luxury hotel industry, a resort property company, and real estate law firms, Monnie began her real estate career in college as a real estate paralegal working with investment syndicates. Early in her career she formed her own real estate company that managed and marketed real estate investment group properties which later expanded to development, financing, leasing and sales of both commercial and residential properties. She developed, owned and operated a luxury hotel, The Cambridge Club and The Profile Restaurant for nine years.
Monnie has built upon this foundation by adding to her knowledge of the industry and developing successful techniques for breaking down barriers and overcoming obstacles that achieve results for her clients. A natural salesperson, she was the managing principal partner for the development and sale of the 200 acre Riva Chase luxury home community at Genesee.
