Loosely defined as anything inside of the perimeter, Intown, or Midtown, is brimming with character. It is the second largest business district in Atlanta. It is home to more than 30,000 residents, while 68,000 commute here for work and 20,000 for school. Annually, Intown sees about six million visitors—there to see its cultural attractions, institutions of higher education, noteworthy architecture and urban layout. Midtown is the location for some of Atlanta’s most iconic buildings such as the Bank of America Plaza, AT&T Midtown Center, Atlantic Center, and 1180 Peachtree.
