Lynn was born and raised in Northeastern Connecticut where she and her husband, Karl, were high school sweethearts, marrying after college. Lynn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Notre Dame College in Manchester, New Hampshire as Salutatorian of her class and subsequently received a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Hartford. She was the Regional Director of Underwriting in Individual Life Insurance for CIGNA prior to moving to the Vineyard in 1981 when she and her husband purchased a property in Vineyard Haven that they transformed into the award winning Thorncroft Inn. They have purchased, renovated and sold a number of properties, both residential and commercial, in Connecticut and on the Island. Lynn’s full-time and Karl’s part-time move to real estate sales in 2003 was a logical extension of their personal real estate involvement and their serve-first philosophy.
Over the years, Lynn has been a member of the Tisbury Zoning Board of Appeals, a member of the Board of the Vineyard Montessori School and has also served in a variety of capacities in her Church. Much of her time was devoted to raising her two, now adult sons, Alex and Hans.
Professionally Lynn is a licensed Broker, a member of the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), and a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) in addition to being a Realtor and member of the Cape Cod and Islands MLS. Lynn is a seasoned real estate professional and has been a consistent top producing agent. She has earned a reputation for cooperative, ethical business practices and an uncanny capacity for negotiation and problem solving. These attributes, coupled with her property and renovation experience, enable her to guide prospective Buyers and Sellers in achieving their real estate goals on Martha’s Vineyard---“Making Island Dreams come true”.
