With both international and domestic business experience, Claudia Vilfordi brings a creative skill set of innovation, strategy and communications to her assignment at Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty. A diversified business background of over thirty years has provided a first-hand understanding of change and the need for flexibility in developing effective solutions. These traits have translated effectively to real estate where Claudia's engaging personality and her ability to listen to a client's needs are integral to her work. After two years of teaching, Claudia started her career with a global information technology company in the Recruiting Department. There, she was responsible for opening health care accounts throughout the United States. She accepted an international assignment in London, England, and later became Director of Recruitment with the company's expanding presence in Western Europe. Later, she continued this same position in the Pacific Region and opened offices in Australia, Singapore and Brazil by training local nationals on the platform and program she initiated. Returning to the United States, she assumed responsibility for the company's Relocation Department with over 5,000 relocations annually. Coupled with other line and operations assignments, Claudia's customer contact, problem solving and out-of-the-box thinking have remained areas of expertise throughout her career. Based on those capabilities, she was recruited to work for a private equity firm to run its investor relations, communications and human resources. As a native Dallasite, Claudia has witnessed first-hand the city's phenomenal growth as an international destination for both individuals and corporations. She attended The University of Dallas where she received her Bachelors of Arts in English and later her Master of Business Administration. Her move to Plano, Texas, coincided with her corporate position and she resides there today. She believes she possesses the best of all worlds in knowing "Dallas, Plano and the areas to the north." Her volunteer activities have included work on the school board at Ursuline Academy, the alumnae board at The University of Dallas, lector at St. Rita Catholic Church and volunteer at the Austin Street Shelter. An area of special interest and expertise is home interiors to include furniture, draperies, bedding and upholstery.
