Some people know what they want to do from their childhood and Leigh Sands is a prime example. She spent the better part of her formative years tagging along in and out of many homes with her interior designer mother. A lifelong passion was born. She saw first-hand that residential real estate can be far more than a transaction. It can be one of the most personal moments in a family's life. If done exactly right, it translates the values and needs of a family into a home that reflects the things they believe. The right home can become a touchstone in a family's life. Leigh Sands understands this. Leigh began her professional real estate career in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She was able to witness the power of the right house and the effect it has. Her success was then, and is now, driven by her emphasis on understanding the often unexpressed needs of her clients then helping them to translate what they want into the reality of their perfect home. Leigh's trademarks are her ease and intuition combined with her laser focus on helping to create the right outcome, whether that means finding the perfect home or the perfect buyer. Equipped with a passion for architecture, design and remodeling, Leigh enjoys modernizing and restoring architecturally significant homes as she has done for her own family. Leigh is a graduate of Highland Park High School where she was a distance runner, and University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Corporate Communications. Actively involved at the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Junior Garden Club, and a member of the Dallas Country Club and Highland Park Presbyterian Church, she and her husband, Storm, live in an historic home of her design in Highland Park with their three children, who are all proud Episcopal School of Dallas Eagles.
