Believe it or not, I started out as a horse trainer. But as we all know, life sends you down different paths for a reason. While training horses and working with horses I bought a property from a ranch Realtor who became my good friend and mentor. He took me under his wing and showed me the business, while encouraging me to pursue a career that would better utilize my abilities. After some deliberation I decided to get my license, and I began my real estate career in 1999, subsequently getting my broker's license in 2008. I have never looked back. What sets me apart from others in my industry is my work ethic. I come from generations of proud, hard-working people who don't know what it means to give up. And what I offer my clients is drive and determination. The word quitter is not in my vocabulary. I am a closer. And I have been honored by my colleagues, first by being elected to the Greater Ft. Worth Association of Realtors board of directors for two terms and by serving a term as the chairman of TREPAC, a professional association which represents the real estate industry at the state level in Austin. On the personal side, I am a Texas native. I grew up in Lubbock and graduated from Texas Tech. Ranching, oil, horses and farming are all part of my story. My family and I still keep horses - my sons and I enjoy riding, and we have earned championships in Western Pleasure competitions. We also enjoy hunting and fishing and we are active in our church.
