Selling, buying, renovating and decorating real estate in the Highlands area has long been a fun activity for Jackie on a personal level. In recent years she has developed a successful real estate practice and supports her clients to help them fulfill their buying and selling objectives. The real estate profession is a logical transition from Jackie's former career in human resources management and talent acquisition for Brown-Forman, and her independence as founder and owner of a professional search firm before that. Jackie's law degree and management experiences prepared her well for the work required in a successful real estate practice. To Jackie the privilege and responsibility of this important work requires tireless attention to the market and to the people she represents, as well as respecting all parties involved in each transaction. Her strengths include her ability to intuit needs, listen well, see potential, respect individuality, advocate, manage process and facilitate actively and smartly on behalf of her clients. Jackie's professional motto has always been "high touch with integrity, tenacity and creativity". Jackie grew up in St. Matthews and she raised her wonderful sons, Sam and Ben, in Louisville's Highlands where she lives with Lloyd Kelly, (a fine equestrian/landscape/still life artist and also a Realtor with Kentucky Select) and their rescued Lab, Baxter, and regular visitor, their Granddog Coop, the beagle mix.
