The International Symposium kicked off Wednesday with a guided tour of Milan, as attendees visited acclaimed landmarks such as the Duomo di Milano and its terraces, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the Piazza Scala. Following the city tour, guests met back at the hotel for drinks and hors d’oeuvres during the welcome reception.

The conference program commenced Thursday with featured speaker Giuseppe Tomasetti, a former international business lawyer and the founder of Tomasetti Family Winery. Further topics discussed included ‘Successes, Difficulties and Challenges of the European Markets,’ ‘How September 11, 2001 Had an Increasing Effect on Real Estate Transactions Around the World’ and ‘Blockchain: Beyond Bitcoin.’ In the evening, members made their way to DRY Milano for a lively night of networking, cocktails, gourmet pizza and Italian specialties hosted by Tirelli & Partners and Italy Sotheby’s International Realty.

Guests were invited to attend a networking lunch, after which they were taken on a property tour, hosted by Tirelli & Partners and Italy Sotheby’s International Realty, to see some of the best luxury real estate throughout Milan; modern, historic and architecturally significant.

The International Symposium ended with a closing dinner featuring local gourmet cuisine and wine at a historic trattoria, the Ristorante Giannino dal 1899.
