As a licensed California and Nevada real estate broker, Ginley prides herself on being honest, smart and hardworking. Jackie Ginley She was raised back East and earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University. Ginley has traveled widely, living in Japan, Ireland and Mexico City, where she worked as a correspondent for the San Francisco Chronicle.

Her years as a journalist in the San Francisco Bay Area helped her come to an intimate understanding of the communities that drive Tahoe/Truckee real estate sales.

 “As a professional journalist of many years, and someone who has built and remodeled homes to the studs, my skill set lays the foundation for offering clients ‘informed’ advice in any market,” said Ginley.

 She is a skilled negotiator, but when it comes to working with buyers, her approach leans more to that of a real estate consultant than salesperson. Never one to pressure her clients, Ginley presents a business style that mirrors the Golden Rule. Ginley helped create the KidZone in Truckee, and she currently serves on a Tahoe Donner committee examining short-term rental policies and amenity uses and Short-term Rental committee.
