The nearly 3,000 square foot office replaces the organization’s St. James office. Currently 35 agents work out of the Smithtown office, which occupies two storefronts at 81 Route 111 Smithtown, NY.

“Opening a new office is always exciting,” said Deirdre O’Connell, Chief Executive Officer of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty. “It’s an ideal opportunity to design from the ground up to accommodate technology, work flow and public and private spaces. Best of all, opening a new office reflects the growth we’re experiencing in established and new markets.”

Sales manager Anthony DeGrotta is equally enthusiastic about the new space. “While we were in St. James, our office was number one in sales volume in St. James, Nissequogue and Head of the Harbor based on sales that closed during 2017. Close to 150 people joined Anthony DeGrotta and Assistant Sales Manager Marianne Koke at the ribbon cutting, among them Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty agents, clients, family and friends; local professionals and business people including Smithtown Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Barbara Franco and Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty senior management, including Deirdre O’Connell, Regional Manager Deborah Hauser and longtime Regional Manager Carol Tintle, who retired earlier this year.

The Smithtown office can be reached by phone at 631-584-6600.
