LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM - Maskells is pleased to announce the sale of four properties in Prime Central London totalling $20 million. This included one family home in Kensington, a penthouse in Cadogan Gardens in Knightsbridge, a weekend apartment in Chelsea and a waterside condo with views over the River Thames.
All of the properties were advertised on LuxuryRealEstate.com and of note, the family home in Kensington, which was advertised on the front page of the LRE® site, received over 7,800 hits in 48 hours. The property was sold to a buyer from the U.S. who has family in the UK.
This particular home was within commuting distance to the American School in London (ASL) and the conveniences of Notting Hill Gate, which is a short walk from the Duchess of Sussex’s new home in Kensington Palace. The new owners are to remodel the house, however will keep the hanging garden in the central light well, a truly unusual feature for a London home.
The penthouse in Cadogan Gardens was newly refurbished in neutral tones allowing the incoming buyer to accessorize to their own tastes. Of note in this property is the terraces which provide for a spectacular view of the London skyline. Of further note, and keeping the Royal connection, the penthouse is a short walk from the health centre frequented by both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
